Project: Prepare Faculty for online grading

College moved from text-based grading to grading in Blackboard. All faculty were required to input, manage and submit grades for transcripts through Blackboard.


Deliverable: e-learning module in Storyline

  • Required the setup of a demo course for simulations in the final product.
  • Simulations completed in Storyline
  • Images and screenshot prepared using Snagit (Camtasia product)

Project: Enterprise training for JD Edwards

Client migrated to JD Edwards ERP (Oracle) for their supply chain management needs. Goal: to create a robust system of training solutions for executive leadership, storeroom clerks and other personnel.

Tool: Articulate Rise

Rise was used for simpler topics that did not require a measured outcome. Storyline was reserved for content that required an 80% pass rating. 

Project: Infographic for LMXT Program

A series of marketing fliers used to explain the sequence and difficulty of the courses in the LMXT program.

Camtasia Video

Camtasia is often used in projects that require the designer to also be a developer. Once the storyboard has been created with the support of the stakeholders, the designer must then create the required products.

  • Syncing video with audio.
  • Creating interactive activities within Camtasia.
  • Structuring simulations for demonstrations.
  • Preparing files for export and embed into Storyline.

Project: Classroom Management

Client wanted to create a scenario-based interaction to measure the learner’s ability to respond to changes in the classroom.

  • Created profiles for characters in each scenario.
  • Leveraged characters options in Storyline to match structured profiles.
  • Created script for each segment of the scenario.
  • Built each segment of the interaction.

Project: Faculty Training (Universal Design for Learning)

A faculty certification course for Universal Design for Learning. Used Blackboard as the course home. Course was structured into 6 modules.

  • Created content as the SME.
  • Design the layout and navigation of course.
  • Aligned course to be business outcomes.
